Even if it was a made for TV movie, i found it to be quite entertaining, and as always mr. Lee is excellent in it.
It was fun to watch Frank Gorshin (the riddler on the Batman tv series) a very talented actor but we hardly never saw him after Batman.
Some scenes were quite effective and ,i think i'll take out my VHS and have a look at it again!!

Sorry if there was another post on this. I must have missed it. My computer time is limited as I share it with my 2 children. I stop by whenever I get a chance to fit it in.

I think of actors like John Carradine and Boris Karloff who battled arthritis or put down oxygen masks and climbed from their wheelchairs to perform their scenes - because they didn't want to disappoint their fans. Troopers indeed!!!!

I think I would have been afraid to shake Mr. Carradine

Yes, I saw this made-for-tv movie. It was quite interesting and Mr. Lee was very good in it. Mr. Carradine was very good also. I forgot about the way he looked in it. It's interesting, looking back, but I just always saw these movies and expected actors like Mr. Carradine and Mr. Lee to be in them and that they'd live forever. Now I look back at these movies and see how much different everyone looks (including a very, very young Emma Samms and Mark Harmon) and I just can't believe they ever looked that way. I remember seeing Vincent Price in so many movies, t.v. specials, even the Carol Burnett Show (he appeared on that a lot) and when I was a kid, I just took it for granted. It's kind of hollow and sad, now that they're gone. Oh well. That's life, I guess.

If I could stray off-topic for a second:
Mr. Gorshin is presently appearing in New York in a one-man stage play based on the life of comedian George Burns. He's gotten rave reviews...and it's really neat to see him still going at it.

About the older greats no longer with us. It is wonderful that we can enjoy their performances on video and DVD. Before this, we could maybe have only relived their wonderful talents by chance on late night TV periodically.

About Goliath Awaits, I quite like the part where Mr. Lee relates back in time to the time of the ship sinking and the inventions they had to come up with to stay alive and survive to their time of discovery and rescue.

And, everyone ages, hopefully gracefully!
