Yeah, I picked it up from Play for that price. As well as two James Bond DVDs for 16 pound. Not bad at all. :D

Does anyone know how to activate the Easter Egg mentioned in the discription of the second DVD? Would love to see it.

Which copy do you have?
I have the Director's cut two disk box set.
Its not hidden on that one.
Just go to special features and pick interview with Christopher Lee.

I was a bit premature with my question. I've got the RC1 Limited Edition with the wooden box, but without the audio commentary. So the "footage of commentary team meeting and preparing" (that's the Easter Egg mentioned in the DVD's description) will certainly not be there... :(
Instead of that the interview with Mr Lee seems to be included as an Easter Egg in this edition, and I already found a description of how to activate it on the first disk (theatrical release).

Guess I have to buy the RC2 edition now as well... :D

Thanks for your answer anyway,

Isn't this footage on the second disc? I found it by accident when I was fiddling about with the buttons, and if you keep pressing down, you'll go past highlighting the 'on/off' commentary thing, and highlight a little man holding up his torch toward the Wickerman. Click on him, and you get the footage.

Hope you can get hold of the DVD set, LuckyTramp! :) It's well worth it.

Yes, I think so. Although I just bought the US release three weeks ago. This edition doesn't feature the audio commentary but it's nevertheless a real eye-catcher with it's wooden box :).

I think we're talking about the same thing... but the commentary for the film is on the 'Director's Cut', and so is the ten minute piece of footage of Mr.Lee and the others sitting down to do the commentary.

Perhaps we're talking about different bits of footage...? :D

That'd explain it then! :D I was talking about the little bit filmed in 2000, or 2001, when Mr.Lee, Edward Woodward and that were filmed doing a bit of the commentary.

It's good you should see it, Mr. Lee gets to do most of the talking
:D , Mr.Lee takes over,:D :D Its great, you will have to see if you can get hold of a copy.
But it is hidden on some DVDs so take another look at yours.
You never know you may have it on there.
We was talking about this a long time ago on this site, and I know some one told how you can get to it.
Can remember who it was now, but if they read this they may help you.

It's all right - I know how to get to it. Compared to some DVD's Easter Eggs (the Star Wars ones, for example) it was relatively easy to access.
