Wonder if we will see this? I'd definitely like to, that's for sure!

I'm not sure whether we'll get a second round - I think an Anakin-Dooku rematch would be much more fiery! Anakin's got a lot of hate bottled up inside of him, and after the Count took his arm, he's sure to want to have his revenge!

Probably, but I don't think Dooku's going to let it lie with Yoda.
Beaten by a three foot tall green alien. Oh the insufferable humiliation of it all...;) I can just see Sidious taking the mick out of him for that!

He does what he must with the pesky Jedi just to he can get past it. I don't think he'd go out and seek a rematch with any of them.

I agree, Rogue Jedi! And I don't think that Dooku really lost to Yoda - he was equally matched in my opinion. He had to break up the match, or face being caught by further Republic forces - he had the plans for the Death Star on him, so I think had a pretty good excuse for making a hasty retreat! :D
Ok I just won't hear anything against him, but that's not the point...

I agree with you totally.

Thanks RJ! :D I'm glad someone agrees with me! Hanging around to 'play' was Darth Maul's undoing... Sidious wouldn't risk having an apprentice with the same flaw second time over!

He'd have far more patience and not as much spontanaety as a younger person. Was a smart choice I think. :)

In addition to all the above, I think that the ending was a little hurried or abrupt - but probably only things were really getting interesting and I wanted to see what would happen next right then and there. I have a feeling the next sequel will be something to behold - and I'll be waiting for an intense rematch between those two light sabre masters.:bounce: :bounce:

The next one is supposed to be the 'darkest' of all of the SW movies. I think it will be the one that those of us with Sith Sympathies will really get into :D

Absolutely! He had things to do and somewhere else to be!
I almost don't even care what Anakin does next! ALMOST!
I do kind of wonder how much Obi-Wan will interact with the Count, and if there is something more that will happen between them.

I don't think we will see a rematch even though it would be cool to find out who wins. What would be really cool is if in EP3 we see and Dooku vs. Mace as they have completely different fighting styles. Although I think Dooku will fight against Ani as a parallel to the OT.
Yeah it's said that EP3 will be the darkest of all films even darker than the Empire Strikes Back. Can't wait till 2005. |

Dooku versus Mace would be cool... I still think Dooku may be able to hold off Mace's fiery style with his finesse and elegance! :D But, yeah, Ani-Dooku seems to be the most probable. We could be surprised, though!

Or maybe Count Dooku will be matched against more than one opponent. It's exciting to speculate exactly what a re-match might entail. And I wonder where they'd likely hold such a re-match - on a dangerous precipice like the Vader-Skywalker showdown, an arena, a darkened cavern? Gives me the chills just thinking what might occur.
