This is just a piece of harmless wishing but I thought it would be fun to find out what films people would have loved to have seen Mr Lee in .................. here's a few of mine .

Space Cowboys .......... any role except Clints . After all they sent John Glenn up and he was 77 .

The Omen .......... Gregory Pecks part

The Wild Geese ........ Richard Harris' role

The Fourth Protocol .......... Michael Cains role

that's just a few to get the ball rolling .......................

Would have loved to have seen him in the Conrad Veidt role in Casablanca. Or as Zeus in any of the Ray Harryhausen fantasies.

Crazy as it is, I would have loved to have seen Mr Lee as one of the prophets in Monty Pythons Life of Brian or even better the official in charge of the stoning........."Alright!Who threw that?"

I have no idea where that idea came from!

How about the dad in "A Christmas Story"?

I don't know where that came from either...

When I watched The Devil's Backbone I kept thinking that Frederico Luppi's part was ideal for Mr. Lee.
And then there's that fantasy of mine that Mr. Lee will turn up in a Neil Gaiman-directed Sandman film as Destiny or Burgess.

With his voice,Mr Lee could have graced many film and stage musicals.

How about the lead in Fiddler on the Roof?I think a CL version of If I Were a Rich Man would be marvellous.

The part of Fagin in Oliver also seems tailor made.

I always thought that mr. Lee would have been fabulous as a member of the consortium , the conspirators in "The X files", i especially see him in the part that Sir John Neville played in "The X files the movie".
He would have been simply perfect for that part with his impressive and commanding presence.

There are a few movies I would have loved to see him in.

One would be Scrooge.

I think he would make a great Scrooge.

In a non-musical role, I think Mr. Lee would make a great Zeus in some kind of mythological film. He would certainly look the part with long silver, slightly curly, hair, a big bushy beard, and flowing robes, and holding a lightning bolt to command mere mortals. Any kingly, wizardy role belongs to him.

Chaos Mage is an unknown quantity at this point
Not a movie, but a television series. I would haved loved seeing Peter Cushing as Doctor Who and Christopher Lee as his nemesis, The Master.

I'm going to say that just for a change of pace he should have had Ralph Fiennes part in the movie version of The Avengers... but I'm really thinking more along the lines of a Terry Gilliam film. Perhaps The Avengers as done by Terry Gilliam, even.
