Man, one of the Reuters pictures of Peter was scary. He's 10 years younger than Mr. Lee and looked about 20 years older.
I guess, to quote Raiders of the Lost Ark, it's not the years, it's the mileage...

he is such a wonderful actor too. they give the oscar or whatever award is going on at the time to an actor who isn't that good or
the movie itself is so bad you just don't see how it was such a hit.

That is a very impressive list Mr. O'Toole has,
Your right, I do think there is something wrong with the judges.

I know this will probably sound outrageous, but I don't know how Russell Crowe or A Beautiful Mind could even be nominated, let alone win anything. I suppose nominating members for awards shows have their own criteria. The everday fans, like us, have our own way of judging what we like and don't like. I thought Mr. Lee should have been nominated for Best Supporting Actor in Clones at the very least, as he stole the movie away from all "the stars". Same thing for Lord of the Rings 1. Mr. Lee was in his element in terms of tailor-made roles.

no it's not outrageous i agree with you. i have't seen attack of the clones i wanted to see in the theatere but could't get no one to go with me and i haven't got the chance of getting the dvd yet. but as for lord of the rings i agree. i'm not counting the two towers since he was barely in it.
