A new script is written and has been approved, Spielberg will direct the project himself. Harrison Ford will be in it again, of course but would there be a big surprise for CL fans?
Well, I think that Mr Lee will be in Spielberg's mind, specially after his kick butt performance in AOTC. Not to mention that he has worked with Mr Lee in the past. Time will tell.
When Mr Lee returns, I am going to ask him to bother Spielberg a bit and ask him for a part. No harm. All films need a good baddie and he should go for the best there is.

Filming starts in 2004, so I presume he is already casting and if not, he will be doing so soon. Release is expected in 2005.

That would be the icening on the cake.:) Do try and convince Mr. Lee to bother Mr. Spielberg Juan, I'm sure you can be very persuasive when you want.:D
Offhand, how many Spielberg films has Mr. Lee been in ? I could check IMDB but I'm sure someone will know. The only one I can think of at this moment is 1941.

Yep, I do believe that's it.
There are a variety of wonderful roles Mr. Lee could play in an Indy film...a Nazi, a British officer, a fellow professor...how 'bout Indy's uncle? That'd be cool!

We talked about Mr Lee being in an Indy film in another thread.
It would be fun. I like the fun nature of the Indy films.
Do you think Mr. Lee would have enough time to be this one? Isn

Thats great, Mr. Lee and Indy wow !
Two great things put together, I love the Indy films.
Wonder what sort of baddie he will be, then again Mr. Lee might be on the side of good.
Hope its a good part, and that Mr. Lee has a long time in front of the camra, I mean that Mr. Lee will not be killed off in the frist part of the film.

I think they should bring Sean Connery back into the mix. They could have Mr. Lee be Connery's old nemesis and have someone else play Indy's baddie.

Oh and I'm just agreeing with ADMIN's 1st comment. "Mr. Lee should go out for the best there is." Well I couldn't have put it better, because he IS the best!

Sarumanrules, I like your idea of tag teaming. You are very creative.
On the other hand, am I the only one who wants to see Christopher Lee cast in a major role other than the super-villain?
It is confounding to me that some actors who make a lot of films get typecast as either a good guy or a bad guy, while other actors seem to play both sides of the fence equally well. I know there is more to Mr. Lee as a person and as an artist than playing the heavy all the time. However, if that is how his talents can best be used...so be it! Harrison Ford always plays the good guy, Christopher Lee always plays the bad guy. Why is that?
In the words of Monty Python: "And now for something completely different!"

As for Lee, casting him as a good guy would require a certain amount of vision that Hollywood often lacks.

What an awesome possibility this is. I can't come up with much of anything to say other than, "Wow!"
