Well, when I went up to Toronto, I saw some very interesting things about Gollum. I think this character will be the most impressive in TT, Juan will be putting my article about my trip as soon as he gets a chance to. Hopefully before the movie comes out. Old Soul |

I was debating this a bit, it was hard to decide between Eowyn and Faramir for me. However, Eowyn was always a very cool character to me the first time I read it as a young girl being that she defied convention and rode of to battle bravely so I am probably most interested to see how Miranda Otto plays her. But I've heard very good things about David Wenham as Faramir so he is a very close second.:D

FOr me it was a toss up between Gollum and Wormtongue. But I eventually went with the latter because, even though I'm dying to get a good look at Gollum, I can't wait to see what Brad Dourif does with the character of Grima.

Don't worry about accidentally posting twice. Apparently I screwed up posting this poll (having never posted one before) and entered two posts about it anyway. Personally, I'm really looking forward to seeing Brad Dourif and Peter Jackson's interpretation of Wormtongue. He looks fantastic in makeup. |

I must say that even though I feel that Grima is an important character, he has almost the perfect actor to play him (I can think of no one more suitable). I voted for Gollum, he is a pivotal character that we have thusfar seen little of, I must admit that his treatment in the Bakshi version was accurate if a little too (trying to be) humorous, and I felt that despite this he was a well done to character. I can't wait to see more of what Andy Serkis/WETA has done with him. D |
