FOTR extended version

Hi All,

I'm quite new to the group, so first off I'd just like to say I'm looking forward to exchanging views and experiences with you all.



I got the extended version of FOTR at the weekend, and I must say that t is pretty damn good. OK so none of Mr Lees scenes were extened to any great degree, but the extra 2 disks containing the interview and other assorted footage are well worth the money. His insights into the film and its making are brilliant (although as we know he is a huge fan of the books and reads them every year, and was also the only member of the ast or crew ever to have met Professor Tolkien).

I wondered if anyone else hae seen these and has any opinions on them.

I agree that the extra features were amazing. I literally spent the better part of two weeks watching them a couple hours at a time.
