Hmm, I think 'long' is an understatement!
(Pretty much like every essay I've ever written!)

I've never been much of a Star Wars fan, but my Other Half (who has been since the first film) dragged me to see Ep 1 to try and convert me. It didn't exactly work. It was OK but I didn't really engage with it.

For some reason we didn't actually go to see Ep 2, I think Other Half was a little disappointed with Ep 1 and I was engrossed in other things at the time.

Then to my shock I discovered that my favourite actor in the whole wide world was in it! And I had missed my chance to see it! Oh woe was me!!!

But there was a twinkle in Other Half's eye, especially when he heard that the DVD is coming out this month which he knows I will buy. He now has a good chance of converting me with this one film, and it is all Mr Lee's fault!!

Oh well! If I must give in I must!

I loved Episode 1 - I don't know whether it had anything to do with my being only 14 when I saw it, and therefore finding Anakin easier to relate to or something... I just thought it was great fun.

I like all the Star Wars film - and to find out Maul would be succeeded by legendary Christopher Lee was great for me! And he surpassed all my expectations as the latest in the line of Sith Apprentices. Episode 2 is great - watch it with an open mind, and see what you think, Michelle.

I like Episode I too - but I like Episode II alittle bit more than Episode I , eventhough I like all the performances in both episodes I and II eqaully , I think Mr. Lee is a very cool and great Count Dooku aka Lord Tyranus too , enough to get the DVD version of AOTC too , and also see the Special Features on the DVD and the DVD from LOTR the FOTR Extended version . And the another reason why that I like the Second SW better because it followed the original SW series more that the First SW film .

All my Best ,

Amy Maloney

Although I haven't had a chance to watch the extras disc, I can assure you all that the Clones DVD is simply the most awesome thing you've ever seen...or heard.

You're in for a major treat!!

It's in my bag right now!

I might humour Other Half a little by telling him he can't watch it until Christmas (heh heh heh!)

I'll let you what I think of it! ;)

Twas brilliant!! :D

Three important points:

1. I watched it all the way through
2. I didn't fall asleep (this is always a good sign!)
3. After I had watched it I knew I had enjoyed it (also a good sign)

For me personally it was the right mixture of action, humour and romance, and the special effects weren't too bad either (heh heh heh!) I even remembered scenes and characters out of the other films, which I was quite proud of!

Other Half even went so far as to say that it may be his favourite out of them all! (yes I did let him watch it! But he had to put up with quite a few questions from me throughout!)

The fight sequences were fantastic! But as the light saber wielding battle commenced on the screen, one also started in the living room (minus the light sabers though). Other Half was shouting for Yoda, naturally I was shouting for Darth T.
I suppose the outcome on screen was a good one for us, it meant we didn't fall out!

The extras look pretty good, we haven't watched them all yet.
The R2D2 'Mockumentary' had us in stitches! VERY funny!! And we both love seeing deleted scenes.

So in conclusion, I really liked it. Whether or not I have been converted yet, it's hard to say...but it's looking positive!

The AOTC DVD is AWESOME! The Extras Disc is worth the price alone. The sound and quality is incredible, but I found myself enjoying the movie even more now.
