Old Soul is an unknown quantity at this point
Star,

it's also known as Satanic Rites of Dracula, The.

you could find it in the filmography section here.

If a title dosn't appear in the main name, then try the alternive title.

Old Soul

That's a pretty awful poster. A generic Dracula in Bela Lugosi-style evening clothes and cape with up turned collar. Pitiful.

I've never heard of that title either, presumably it's the U.S. title for the film.

It was. From the US 1978 release, I believe.

I wouldn't pay what his asking, I don't think I would have it if he gave it to me,
Why do they change a good poster for one like that?

Matt, that poster was used in the '78 US campaign from Dynamite Films. I remember it all too well...how could I forget it? :)

As usual, Alfonso hit it on the nose. It is from Dynamite's 1978 U.S. release. And that isn't just a Lugosi-like cape. If you dig out the old photos you'll see the stone staircase behind the Count belongs to Lugosi's Carfax Abbey. The (I shudder to use the term) artist who rendered this poster, did so from stills of Lugosi's 1931 DRACULA.

At one time, I had four copies of this particular one-sheet. I believe I'm down to two now.

As a collector of horrendously over-the-top movie posters, I have to admit this is one of my favorites. Not only for the god-awful artwork (flaming cross buried in her chest, which seems to bother the Count not a bit - haw), but for the remarkably stupid catch phrase "The King of the Undead marries the Queen of the Zombies." For a picture, mind you, that features neither a wedding nor a single zombie.

If I remember correctly, Mr. Lee was disgusted when he was handed the original shooting script for this film, then titled DRACULA IS DEAD AND WELL AND LIVING IN LONDON. According to FM, he complained (and rightly so) that they (Hammer) were treating the character like a joke. If he'd only been able to look six years into the future and see this poster!

not a bad poster art wise. Looks nothing like Christopher Lee of course but if ya like horror lobby cards its ok...brings back memories to the late 80s for me. I was unaware at the time of how movies had alternate titles and was trying to order Hammer movies from local video stores. Remember back then it wasnt as EZ as it is now to locate movies . Anyway saw the title and stars of Mr. Lee and Cushing and saw its 1978 release date and thought it was another Dracula film tried to order it, it never came in, thought for the longest time it was another film and Satanic wasnt the last Dracula movie he made. Was disappointed to find it was the same film, for a while I thought cool one more to hunt down and find
