As long as we're doing Best, Most-Watched, Favorite, Kindest, Most-Villainous, and so on, how about listing what you consider the worst Christopher Lee movie you've ever seen?

Sort of a dangerous topic. Sure to ignite a few discussions.
I think the worst movies that Mr. Lee has been in (that I've seen) are Funny Man and Dracula 1972 AD. There. I've said it. There's a Christopher Lee movie I don't care for. Or two.

For me, Jaguar Lives and by far. I tend to keep an open mind and watch everything at least twice but this film I cannot stand.

i think it's "The keeper", i remember renting it from a video store a long time ago, (just because he was in it) and having a hard time believing how bad it was.

Without a doubt. :)

I didn't list any of my own because I really have a hard time coming up with one I truly loathe, but if I had to choose it'd likely be...oh, um...er, probably The Castle of Fu Manchu. Haven't seen this one, though, in about two decades, so my opinion could easily have changed by now.

Mind you I have Howling 2 and The Keeper in my collection but haven't watched 'em yet. Word seems to be that these are pretty miserable films.

Howling 2, without a doubt.

I wonder if Mr. Lee's current triumphs are a karmic payback for having to be in *two* movies with Reb 'Big McLargeHuge' Browne...

I forgot about Howling II. That was horrid.
I haven't seen Castle of Fu Manchu or Jaguar Lives/ Must remember to steer clear of those.
I'm sort of looking forward to seeing Scream and Scream again when it comes out on DVD. (It will be so cheap at work with my discount that I can't pass it up.) I fell asleep during The Oblong Box though. Maybe it will keep me awake the next time.

Apart from Funny Man it's "Scream and Scream again". And "Talos the Mummy".

I would say the Blood OF Fu Manchu and the Castle Of Fu Manchu. Both movies just don't work for me.

I would also like to add Murder Story. It's a detective thriller kind of thingy. but hmm, there's nothing thrilling about it. ;)
Mr Lee speaking Dutch in the movie was the best thing about it, me being Dutch. :D

Worst? I haven't seen the ones mentioned above yet, except for Dracula AD '72. But, if I had to pick one from what I have seen, then perhaps Scars of Dracula - though Mr.Lee was good in it, I thought the film was terrible in itself... :erm:

I'm curious-- has anyone scene Eugenie... The Story of Her Descent Into Perversion or Meat Cleaver Massacre?

The descriptions of them in the Psychotronic Film Guide are somewhat dismaying.

I have to agree Jacob I didn't like "The Castle of Fu Manchu" and "Blood of Fu Manchu" either. It's...I don't know..they just don't work. But I like having them anyway. Then of course the floop for me is.."Mio in the Land of Far away". I have seen many adaptations of Lindgrens books to film and this one is the worst. But Mr Lee is the best thing. The film has only one great scene and that is the final duel in the end.

For me, Jaguar Lives followed by the episode of Space: 1999 that Mr. Lee was in (I can't recall the individual episode title.)

Isn't that the one in which he had that black and white makeup job and the long white synthetic hair? I remember that one, too. Not palatable.

Any movie in which they stuck him in for five minutes and gave him essentially nothing to do ranks on my list.

For me it has to be Howling 2. I'm surprised no-one has mentioned The Stupids yet, it was top of some list a few posts back, but I like it.
