Holy smokes, those are great prizes. I have never flown before, but that prize would get me on a plane in no time.

I had never flown before either, until last year for the Barbican convention.
If i were you, make a small flying trip first. Flying is scary, even when going to London to meet Mr Lee. :
This ofcourse if you win. ;)

Flying isn't scary! I can assure you flying is PERFECTLY SAFE!
Its the part about landing where you should place your concern.
Scary airports to land at include Freeport International on Grand Bahamas where you come in over the ocean and NEVER even see land until about one second before the wheels touch the runway. In addition to coming down right at the water's edge the runway is not what I would call expansive, in fact I could have sworn one time as the brakes really took hold on the Bahamian tarmac I heard the pilot yell, "Whoa there big fella, WHOA!" Then after landing you realize you have to take off on that somewhat stingy strip and get airborn prior to reaching the water or you will be starring in your own live action version of AIRPORT '77.
When you show up at the airport to come home you notice just about everyone has MORE luggage including gallons upon gallons of duty free liquor and then you really start worrying about getting airborn.
Heathrow would be a piece of cake after that.
Remember, any landing you can walk away from is a good landing, even if you have to carry your own bags.
Mr. Nice and Well Behaved Guy

My older brother went on his first flight ten years and has flown a few more times since then. But 3 years ago, my sister-in-law for their wedding anniversary sent him flying with a stunt pilot. They video taped the whole thing for him inside the cockpit. He had a blast, although my sister-in-law was totally scared watching from below, she was beginning to think it was the worst present she ever gave. After watching that video I actually wanted to get into a plane. So I'm thinking maybe I'll start with the stunt pilot first :winky:

That's a great present.
Even though i'm not fond of flying i allways wanted to that myself someday. :)
Next year i'll go to the USA. That involves an 8 hour flight.
I might do that first before stepping into a small plane and start doing some loops.. ;)

Hopefully I will be joining you, the 8 hours is nothing really, I did it on my own a few weeks ago to the USA and I had never flown before , the time flies over, :D if you pardon the pun.
BTW, those prizes are absolutly brilliant. The thing is, will the hotel accept your imaginary money? :1devil:

I have flown from Orlando to Los Angeles several times. Let me just say I'm asking for them to break out the drink cart real quick. It's a pretty long flight, especially when you're stuck next to someone that feels the need to chatter when all you want to do is sleep.
Overall, I don't get scared during flight. I've been in bad turbulence before, and the plane dropped a few thousand feet (felt like a freefall roller coaster). But other than that I felt perfectly fine. Now if a moutain had risen up out of the ocean in front of us, that would've been another story.
But if you really want scary, ride in a small helicopter that has the plexiglass (whatever it is) around all sides so you can see thru the whole body of the chopper. It's sickening.

Before we end up going totally off topic, I have just today left to complete the money/community shop system running fully. I'm writing this minute the FAQ module to explain how everything works.
If you have any questions, please ask them here now. Do not PM me about it anymore, I don't have the time to keep repeating answers over and over.
If your questions gets featured in the FAQ, that earns you money too.

I've just realised, was it wise to show some of the prizes at this early stage ? I don't think anybody will want to buy anything now:D ,
Now let's see, do I want a glow around my name or spend an evening with Mr. Lee ? ....let me think..

It could get a bit ruthless. You could always change someone's title and force them to pay to change it back. Thereby someone else would be spending a good deal of money too which may knock some of the richer people down.
(Or a few poorer souls could combine money to do so, lessening the blow to one's own bank account. The possibilities are endless.)
