Two Towers Info

Been trawling the websites looking for info, and found some old info on aintitcool.com about Two Towers.
I don't see these as spoilers as Peter Jackson himself is reported as saying these things and anyway it is probably old news for most, But just wanted to stir up some feedback on TTT and stuff you all may have heard.
So info from the Barnes & Noble Q&A in New York which featured Christopher Lee raises the following information:
1. Shelob doesnt appear in Two Towers, but at beginning of Return of the King. This comes as quote from Peter Jackson, and kinda makes sense in order to make Return of the king start with a start.
2. Arwen is gonna pop up again, at the expense of characters such as Haldir and Celeborn. It turns out it is her who is retrieving the Shards of the Sword to be reforged (I assume) in the trailer, and therefore probably turns up to pass it onto the rightful king of Gondor.
3. Scouring of the Shire was not gonna be in ROTK as per quote from PJ, and the visions in Lothrien mirror were an "homage to that scene in the book"

Obviously more news will trickle out especially when the marketing wagon starts up.
Hopefully all you Nazgul spies out there can feed back some more info, after all this is the home of Saruman. :)
