The "E" Entertainment Television Network in the States will be rebroadcasting Mr. Lee's appearance on Saturday Night Live on July 3rd, 7pm and 1am. Set up the recorder and enjoy a classic SNL with Christopher Lee and Meatloaf!

Yes!
I've been wanting to see this ever since I read about it! Thanks for the heads-up. I would never have known if it weren't for you. Consider my VCR set and waiting.
Thank you MariaS !!!

Hoping for the former...

It would be great to see it again. I haven't seen it since it was broadcasted. I cannot get "E" Entertainment TV here. You lucky, lucky people. I do remember it great fun though.

I am thrilled to hear about this! I knew about the SNL shows playing on the E! network. However, I wondered when the one with Mr. Lee himself would air! Glad to see that I have not missed it!

Well, not so good if you live in a part of the US that doesn't have "E," either!
I've put out a call for help among my local friends to see if anybody has "E" on their cable service. San Franciscans might.
I've been dying to see this again for a quarter century...it'd be quite a shame to miss it.

I got the impression that the tape players were somehow different in the UK and Europe. | I have to remind you that taping and passing on copies without the copyright owner's permission is piracy. While I'm not prepared to discuss the moral issues involved, under international laws it is still a criminal offense. I would appreciate if you keep these discussions away from Mr Lee's site.

It's a pity this show isn't available for sale. I'm fortunate enough to have "E" on cable. Unfortunately we can't share a copy with our friends overseas due to the copyright laws. Christina or Mr. Lee might have some luck obtaining a personal (nonbroadcast) copy by contacting "E" and/or NBC. I'm afraid I didn't consider the copyright laws due to the age of the show.

Thank God for this sight. I happen to have E! and will defintely tape it. Mr. Lee as comic actor, I've got to see it.
I remember when I was six and the first film I ever saw on a VCR was "1941". It wasn't until years later,( I haven't seen the film since but I remember it, kind of) that I realized that Mr. Lee played the German U-boat commander, and speaking Grerman as well. The way he fumbled with compass from the Crackerjack box and the look on his face...well...I think I've got to see it again. If someone could refresh my memory, please do.
It's been twenty years!

Now this is exciting! My old original copy of the show was made, naturally, on one of the original VCRs and it's pretty chewed up by now. Hope there aren't any edits, though I can't see why there would be; unless some retentive dingbat decides to play around with the Gary Weiss video--the sequence done to "Cold as Ice"--or Mr. Bill. I'll start praying now:p .
