Last weekend, June 21-23 2002, Sylvain, Colin and myself had an improptu meeting of CLW members at Monster Bash 2002 in western Pennsylvania. This was Colin's first trip to the USA and first film convention. On Saturday 6/22/02 Colin, Terry and I went to Fort Ligonier in Ligonier, PA for a tour of the museum and the reconstructed fort.
Fort Ligonier, formerly know as The Post at Loyal Hanna was instrumental in the British victory during the French Indian Wars of colonial America. Click here to see some of the pictures from our tour. Most of these pictures feature Colin who besides being an incredibly nice guy also had the patience and sense of humor to indulge me in the is shoot. Check back in the future for more pictures from the tour and the Monster Bash including our meeting with CL co-star Caroline Munro. I am making tentative plans for another get together next summer also to be held in western Pennsylvania. This will not include a film convention but will be for the families. More info on that to follow at my website.:D

We had a great time together at the Monster bash, Joe ,Colin and Terry are just super guys!, and i really think of them as friends more then before.
I could recognize myself at the monster rally 99 when i was looking at Colin, just to see the expression on his face.
Joe is already a veteran of shows like these, as for myself, it was my second, but i was still very much excited just to be there and meet those personnalities (especially Caroline Munro), and also to meet in person my "chat friends" of the last 2 years.
Of course, if there is any way i can do this again, i'll be glad to join in the fun.
Joe will be posting more photos of the event soon, and i'll try to send some of mine to him so that he can maybe add them to his site.
take care!!

We had a ball last weekend and I do hope it can happen again with more of you, it was an unforgetable experience, one I shall treasure, and I still haven't got my photos developed yet.
The strangest bit for me was seeing the likes of Joe and Sylvain actually animated, and not having to keep the control button down to speak to them:D
I'm actually in the process of writing an article on the event and have finnished part 1, and all I need is Juans permission to put it somewhere on this website. Quote: | This was Colin's first trip | Somehow I don't think this will be my last:)

Colin, that is an excellent article and you met Ken Foree too.
I'm the biggest Dawn Of The Dead fan in Holland. Well, in my hometown anyway. :P
Any chance of uploading that picture you have taken with him? Quote: During takeoff, the flight and landing, I went through all the motions everybody must go through on their first flight, with such things as .
"Is that normal?"
"What's that noise?"
"Don't touch me"
"Aren't we suppose to have 2 wings?"
And finally.
"Thank God we landed" | Colin, i know exactly how you felt, but you forgot:
Can we have a break? i need clean underwear!
Next time i go with a boat.
Was that looping essential?
Nice legs! (stewardess walking by)
Looking forward to read part 2. :D

Great article. I haven't had any trouble with customs I just do what they tell me and that's it. But of course security has to be tighter since september 11th. Don't worry Colin the plane has to have two wings otherwise it can't fly. :)

Took you long enough...I've been waiting for the latest instalment for what seems like ages! :P
Great stuff Colin, looking forward to the rest of it! You have no idea how much I regret not being able to get there, and your charming recollection of events makes my regret even worse. Am I living vicariously through Colin? Hell yes! Keep it coming!
Cheers!

Joe,
That's so funny yet soooooooooooooo true, I've never laughed so much since seeing you get puled over by the highway cop while trying to explain why we had stopped next to a sign saying 'MARS', How could I forget all of that? or then again, maybe I wanted to.
Nice bit of writing there mate....Can't wait for the next part......gulp. |

Colin ,Joe, i enjoyed your re-collections of the Bash very much!
This was very entertaining and also very funny reading.
It made me re-live the event , and i really hope we can do something like this again some day , with more of our "chat" friend attending this time.
good work guys!!
