Just a few days ago I got my DVD of 100 Years Of Horror with CL as host. I rather liked most of it, except the prehistoric creatures bit - not too fond of those kind of Sci Fi movies. Mr. Lee was his usual eloquent self while hosting, although I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more of him featured in the film documentary - if one can call it that. I especially liked the portion on the silent films. I have to say that the original silent film Nosferatu is one of the best movies I've ever seen. All in all it was interesting, but I could have done without all the females screaming - I had to keep adjusting the volume on my TV because it got annoying.

Is this the whole series on DVD or is it selected episodes ?
I was unaware it was available and would like to purchase it but only if it's complete.

Matt - the series is available on NTSC VHS - 13 tapes (consisting of what must be 2 episodes per tape) for $89.99. Were there about 26 episodes ???

I was unaware there was more than one of these film documentaries...duh. I'll have to go searching on Ebay where I found the first one.

I recently purchased this DVD. Not bad. The extra bits from some of the older films were great to see (Edward van Sloan's screen test for Dracula comes to mind). I didn't much care for the dinosaur parts either.
I had no idea that there was a really lengthy documentary with the same name. The disc I bought was 2 hours on 1 disc and had Mr. Lee in Dracula garb on the cover (old photo body, recent Mr. Lee head attached, tacky, yes. . .).
Skorpionn,
Was the sound quality on your DVD sort of bad during the first half? Aside from the loud females, I mean.
