Just out of curiosity does anyone know what film contains Mr Lees shortest ever cameo . I would hazard a guess at 1972s Deathline when he appeared very briefly as " the man from MI5 "

In 1969, Jerry Lewis directed a little oddity called 'One More Time' (a sequel to another film called 'Salt & Pepper), which starred Sammy Davis, Jr. and Peter Lawford. There's a surreal little scene in which Davis finds himself locked in a basement where he encounters Christopher Lee (as Dracula) and Peter Cushing (as Baron Frankenstein). No, not in film clips, but an actual 30 second cameo filmed for the movie! I faintly remember that Dracula and Frankenstein speak briefly to one another about their visitor before Davis escapes.

There's also 'The Magic Christian,' in which Mr. Lee pops up as everyone's favorite vampire once again just long enough to bite ship's captain Wilfrid Hyde-White. Total screen time probably 1 minute.

Cheers Rick . I had heard about both movies but I've never seen them although I know Sammy Davis jr was a huge Hammer fan

Matt...
Just remembered that Lee and Davis costarred again a year or two after this brief cameo in a made-for-TV film called 'Poor Devil.' Davis was, well...a devil, and Mr. Lee was (who else?) Satan himself!

Actually he takes a nip out of a female passenger in her cabin before munching on the captain. Closer to 2 minutes screen time. The high point of the movie for me was Raquel Welch as the Gally Slave Captain. :1devil:

He also strides majestically down a corridor on the Christian for a few seconds...maybe closer to three minutes total time?

I ADORE this film. I introduce people to this movie as "The Ultimate Dave Film." This one incredible delight represents nearly all of my fandom faves. There are the cameos by Mr. Lee and Ms. Welch (representing themselves and Hammer), there's the music written by Paul McCartney and the starring role of Ringo Starr (representing, obviously, The Beatles), and there's a script partly written by and cameos by John Cleese and Graham Chapman, representing Monty Python. Everything fandom-wise I love most in all the world in one neat little package! :)

I just got a copy from Amazon.com US late last summer. It's still in print so if you can play NTSC they have it.
