Hercules in a Haunted World with Christopher Lee is coming out on DVD in August. Check out dvd drive-in for info. Never saw this one but i love Mario Bava films so im sure its a good one

Alright! I've always been curious about Hercules in the Haunted World so this is great news. Another dubbed role for Mr. Lee unless I'm much mistaken, but should be fun. Can't recall the last time I saw an old Herc flick. The Bava angle just makes it all the more worthwhile.

I have seen a trailer of this film,and I must say that I liked it very much indeed.I must buy this DVD straight away when it will re-leased in August!

mario Bava can create some real atmoshpere in his films. I cant wait to see what hades looks like through Bavas eyes

Has anyone purchased the "Hercules in the haunted world" dvd yet?
I just would appreciate to have the first impression on the overall quality of the release.
I saw that film on the big screen here (Montreal) 2 years ago during the film festival "Fantasia", and it was a lot of fun.
It has the Bava touch, a whole lot of imagination with not a whole lot of money.
Of course, CL gives a very commanding performance as Licos , the only thing that's annoying, is (as most of you know) that his great voice was dubbed by another actor, but apart from that it's a very enjoyable film.
It brings back memories of those Saturday matinee's that i used to go see (2 movies for the price of one) when i was just a kid......
