Well we all know that Saruman makes it into the 3rd film of the LOTR trilogy. BUT...if Peter Jackson plans on "dropping Saruman on a wooden stake," then at what point would this occur. According to the text there doesn't seem to be a place for it to fit. I would hope he would be his gruesome end at the hands of Grima, but we'll see. Hell why we're making things up (*ahem* Mr. Jackson!), why not have Gandalf kill him?

Any thoughts? Someone has to have an idea of what the possibilities are.

Some chick stopped me at work and asked me about Lord of the Rings and I made the mistake of telling her I had the Elven One Ring line that says "One Ring To Rule Them All" tattooed around my upper bicep. She thought it was new (as I've had it for 2 yrs now) and felt the need to fondle my arm; while chattering geekily about the movies with me. Needless to say, when I told her Saruman was my favorite character (always has been) she sneered and ended the conversation abruptly. Well you win some and you lose some eh?

Skorpionn is an unknown quantity at this point
Producers and directors often take liberties while filming, and don't stick to the book very well. I'm sure he's got some dramatic scene worked out - both the sequels are already done so it's just a matter of time before we find out. You really have a tattoo with the Ring "motto/saying"? Rather devoted are you? Got any other tattoos? I've got four myself, but they're not related to any book or movie - they represent my American Indian heritage. I wonder how many other fans here have inked the skin canvas?

Yeah I was hoping Saruman's death would be a little more redemptive. Maybe a scene with him dying and asking Gandalf to forgive him or something...?

Anyhow, yes I have a Lord of the Rings tattoo. It was the 1st one I got about 2 yrs ago. If you look in Fellowship of the Ring, the chapter is "Shadow of the Past." On one of the pages it shows the Elven text that appears on the band of the One Ring. I only have the first line tattooed around my bicep. It's the line that says "One Ring to Rule Them All" translate from Tolkien's language that is. It looked very tribal which turned me on to it. I get many compliments from it.
