I realize that Mr. Lee views specific questions directed to him, but does he ever just sit down and read the loony ramblings of his fans LOL. Seriously tho', it would be a bit of a boost to know he takes a few moments out of busy schedule to be amused by his fans, not that he should be amused, just that I would be if I read some of the stuff here and it was about me. Despite his years of being in the public eye, I'd like to believe he's not unmoved by the seeming awe some of the fans (including myself) have for him. If you've got the info, set me straight because I'm rather curious.

He frequently reads though the news to make sure I haven't embarrassed him too much. If he cannot do it himself, he asks a friend to keep an eye. He reads through the comments too and either smiles or talks to himself. "Come on, next!"
What he insists upon reading and looking up every time he comes over, are the fan art, articles and reviews. With the reviews, he talks to himself a lot. Nearly every time, he says "very good". The thing is, he never goes on to comment on a thread but that will of course change with the premium membership forums. His only regret is not having more time to play around his site or understanding the technology. He notices other actors with his laptops writing e-mails, etc. He always says, I don't understand how anything works but I am able to see it. Always tells the younger actors who comment about his site to him, "When you are as old as I am, you deserve to have a site like mine".
His favourite part of the site have always been the articles, even there hasn't been anything new in there for ages.
He also keeps a look out for certain members, the ones he can either recognise or have met in the past. He hardly ever forgets a name or a face.
Rumours or links to sites with news we doubt about, are always faxed to him for verification. He is very active, even you only get to hear his opinions in live events or videos .

Has Mr. Lee inquired about learning how to get on the net and view messages himself? I know when I first got in front of a computer when I was about 17, I was intimidated. Back then DOS was the only way to get anything accomplished and it seemed..awful. Being that I have an extensive background in graphic arts, I chose to print instead of do any typesetting due to my "fear" of the computer. I'm pleased with that choice still, even though it was just a way for me to avoid the inevitable - I would have to learn how to use a computer. Eventually I went back to school, learned how to use a computer and now I'm designing my own web page. It's the initial hurdle that proves to be the most difficult. I still have a love/hate relationship with the computer. It seems too many people rely on it instead of using their brains - humans have that wonderful LAZY gene!! I'm sure Mr. Lee, being the intelligent fellow that he is, would find it rather easy to learn some simpler programs that would enable him to interact with the fans on the site - being that's what he wants, maybe not. In reality, he's not missing much - cyberspace is filled with its share of whackos.

Hi there! Glad you came around! :D My daughter Christina has just switched from viola to trumpet, but singing is still her favorite form of music! She was well named, I think! She's also good at languages.

I make no apologies for comments made in the "swoon" thread or others. It's not my fault he's adorable!;)
But besides that, my husband had to admit the other day that Mr. Lee is a really excellent actor. We were watching "Whip and the Body" on DVD. Randy HATES to admit male actors I find fantastic are really good. He usually makes rotten comments to aggravate me. But with CL he had to confess he thought he was really very good. High praise from a jealous husband!

Above all, I praise Mr. Lee's acting ability over his looks - beauty comes and goes, but intelligence is forever. I would never say anything remotely lustful about another man in the presence of my husband - I respect his feelings. While my husband knows I thought/think Mr. Lee is attractive, I don't go out of my way to rub it in his face, that's rather a mean thing to do to the man I promised to Love, Honor, And Cherish for the rest of my life.

OH give me a break! Being attracted to actors and actresses isn't "real life". My husband thinks it's all funny and I do when he mentions someone as well. What we see on the screen isn't the way the actual person is anyway. There's no harm in looking and appreciating....and I always tell hubby he's free to look. We got married, we didn't DIE!
And certainly Mr. Lee is a wonderful actor...otherwise I'd be looking at him saying, "Look at that marvelous looking guy who is just the WORST actor I've ever seen!" Fortunately in his case he has the best of both worlds.
Best to you,
Cara

He's gotten thousands of fan letters from girls and women who think he's a hottie, this isn't news to anyone! He's so much MORE than a sex symbol, and that's what has kept me coming back faithfully for many years.
Your hubby sounds pretty insecure, Cara, better give him a snuggle and save the computer for a more private moment!

Actually, I think my hubby is quite pleased that I've taken more of an interest in Star Wars lately. He took me to see it again last Friday and gave me a playful nudge when Count Dooku appeared.

Being that I'm only speaking for myself here, I hope no one will take anything too seriously. I happen to be a very jealous person - many reasons have played a part in my thought processes. However, if my husband were to make rude comments about someone I was always overtly lusting after, I'd see it as a RED flag, and calm myself thereafter. Sometimes things said in jest are really quite serious - one has to be intuitive enough to pick them up tho'.:1roll:

He's not insecure, it's just something to needle me about. After all we've been through with my health problems the past six months, he knows who's number one in my life!;)
He just likes to play jealous so I can come over and tell him he's wonderful and how cute he is...heeehee.
No, I don't think any of us invented being attracted to Mr. Lee. I think he's probably seen a lot of that over the years.

I've just been in a thread like this in the AOTC section! :P Except husbands hadn't come into it yet... and I don't have one, and am not planning to have one for some time.
I like Mr.Lee, too - as Count Dooku in particular - but he is alot more than just looks. And that's all I'm gonna say. :D Hail Lord Tyranus!
