I have just added another item to my collection. STARWARS EP 2 MONOPOLY
It has some great pictures of Mr. Lee, and a small figurine to play with around the board, no guesses who I will be then.

On the channel HOME SHOPPING EUROPE (HSE) they were selling a paperback edition of LORD OF THE RINGS with Lee's autograph (no inscription, just his signature) for £99 - a bit pricey in my opinion......

I am a true collector of what I love...
From Sir Christopher, I have a lot of VHS and some DVD (around 40 VHS and 5 DVD (including the special edition of the Wicker man (special edition DVD, special edition VHS and old VHS edition)), the screenplay of "the wicker", a Wicker man T-Shirt ( I done it myself)...
I have a magazin signed (the one everybody here must have;) and 2 index cards signed few years ago by post. One is framed with a portrait of Mr Lee as himself. The other is in a little photo book I always cary with me everywhere.
That photo book is my fetish. Its full of "Advice cards". Most of thems come from teachers or peoples with who I used to work on stage. I put my Sir Christopher card with another card I printed with a quote from him "you only know your job after 10 years of work" (in french). That book is really important for me, I always carry it with me everywhere and I been able to get some others advices by few professionals director I really admire (like Billy Wilder). You may find it stupid but that is a great help for me, I read them each day and that help me to keep going in that weird business of movies making.
The item I am looking for since a long time is a music CD by Sir Christopher... I really love his talent in signing.
:o) I am so happy to see that I am not the only crazy collector who have a real passion for theses items! I am impatient to be rich to get my own museum!

Hey, everyone...

...well, added some SWEET new stuff to my collection this week! Over the last two days several goodies have arrived, including a set of Hammer trading cards (81 of 'em), many featuring Mr. Lee in his various roles for the studio, and three BEAUTIFUL tees!! The shirts are all Hammer (not surprising); one features the British quad poster art for "Taste the Blood of Dracula," one the poster for "The Mummy" that you'll find on the DVD, and one is a MAGNIFICENT original work of art based on the very famous close-up of Mr. Lee bursting through the library door in "Horror of Dracula," eyes blazing, blood pouring. This shirt is long-sleeved, with bats all down each sleeve. TOO COOL!!!

Really superb t-shirts all, none of which sadly I can actually wear...if I did, my four-year old daughter would never come within 20 feet of me again, not to mention all the old ladies on my block I'd likely terrify into coronaries!! :)

The marketing bonanza surrounding Star Wars AOTC has Mr. Lee on everything, from glow in the dark yogurt tubes to Star Wars cereal! Cheerios is offering light saber pens, and Lee's bent handle saber is included. It's not as valuable as those movie cards and posters, but amazingly fun -- I've never seen Lee merchandising before on this side of the Atlantic! Love my action figure, too!

While I was out and about yesterday, I picked up two Star Wars items featuring CL. There was an amazing 150 piece metallic puzzle of Mr. Lee as Count Dooku with his light saber - very nice. I also picked up that "toy" figure that has Mr. Lee as Count Dooku doing a flip via a flipping gizmo - the same one that was featured in his interview with Richard and Judy - haven't opened it and given it a try yet.:gif-smile

I have various pieces of memorabilia. However, I think that my most interesting and cherished is a set of ViewMaster slides I bought as a kid on RETURN FROM WITCH MOUNTAIN.

I was walking in the Galleria on saturday and I found one Saruman action figure. I had trouble finding it and when I found the shelf I saw Gandalf instead of Saruman but I looked behind them and I found the last one.:)

Speaking of LOTR figures, when are The Two Towers figures due out? That is, if they're doing any, which I'm sure they will. I have both Gandalf and Saruman from FotR, plus a Ringwraith on his steed.

If anyone's seen Gandalf from TTT, you'll realise that the figure of him is gonna look pretty much like a twin to the Saruman figure we have at the moment! :P That'll be funny...

The latest addition to my collection is a magnificent hand-painted bust of Mr. Lee's Dracula. Superbly detailed, stands about 10" high.

I tried to upload a picture of it, but I can't see that it worked. Not sure what happened. Maybe later! :)

I've added a few more items to my CL collection, some recent additions, some I got a while back.

The Fellowship of the Rings HC Visual Companion book.

AOTC Poster from Toys-R-Us and various cards from the movie. I need the metal box with Count Dooku on the front. Plus the Darth Tyranus really flips! figure.

Just the other day I got an original HOD Italian Fotobusta with Mr. Lee throwing Melissa Stribling in the grave.

A guy a buy items from has ordered some Count Dooku 12" figures. When they come in he has one on hold for me.

Having fun collecting CL Stuff.
