From Richard Corliss:

" For solid thesping, hire the Brits. McGregor tamps down his innate exuberance to play stern baby-sitter to Anakin but lends his scenes a thoughtful weight. And Lee has the tired majesty of a Dracula shaken awake in his sepulcher but with a few good bites left in him. He enunciates plot points like a teacher with a thrilling classroom style; his voice has cello music in it."

I just loved that last bit. Mr. Lee's voice truly is extraordinary.

:D I absolutely agree with you Christopher Lee's voice is amazing, as powerful as his presence. I find the man totally arresting. What about Anakin? He is quite stunning to look at! I have always had a soft spot for Darth Vader so it doesn't come as any surprise to me that he was once a very attractive young man. :1roll:

I'm also a Darth Vader fan so I'm happy to be finding out how he came to join the dark side. Anakin is a little young for me and he lacks the voice. I'll be much happier when James Earl Jones takes over again. But certainly, Anakin was good-looking and I thought he did a fine job in the role. Good eyes.
