Actually, I think the necromantic spell that preserves Dick Clark is slowly starting to wear off.
In a few years his pact with dark powers will be up and then on New Years Eve he will convulse horribly, shrivel up, and die like that guy in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. |

I am not surprised with Spidermans surpassing AOTC since Spiderman has a strong juvenille take and Star Wars biggest audience, at least I think, would be folks 30+ years of age. I must say that I found this movie far superior to Phantom Menace. I thought PM was far too cute for my tastes, and AOTC was a movie one could sink their teeth into a little better, sorry couldnt resist that pun.
