Perfectly okay, Kay, thanks...I've done the same a few times myself, and got BrotherDave rather miffed at me once for the same type of boo-boo. It happens!
Critics...so stodgy, so self-absorbed, so paid-off, so just basically full of it. Unfortunately, I can't help myself and end up reading 'em all. I just refuse to let them influence my thinking when I finally make it into the theatre.
Take care!
Dave

Here is the review of Britain's most knowledgeable and respected film critic.
http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/dynamic/hott..._text_id=545304
Regarding the "Independent". Why do you think the newspaper has that name? They always go against the views of the rest, be in in politics, reviews, whatever. If you hate something, get the Independent and reading it will make you feel good. It's not information, it's like buying medicine.
BTW I didn't bother even reading it, it's clear what to expect. I wouldn't be surprised if he fitted Dracula somewhere and all.

WONDERFUL!!!!
Well, I haven't kept an official tally, but I think it's safe to say at this point that the good reviews are unquestionably outnumbering the bad.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Better than Episode 1". That's what the cricts have said over here. It's darker and less jar-jar. No words about Mr Lee though. As always in the swedish press. They didn't even interwiev him when LOTR was about to open. They interwieved Liv Tyler instead. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

And here is the link to Ebert's Review for the Chicago Sun-Times. Roger Ebert, for those unfamiliar with him, is likely the most respected, or at the very least, most widely printed and influential, film critic in North America. He raises the usual complaint about dialogue, but also addresses some points about the shift from digital format to film for the screening he viewed, which is the format that most of us will see. Still hoping that AOTC will surprise me...
Cheers!

Well, once again, the positive reviews are WAY outnumbering the bad. I doubt we have much at all at this point to be concerned about, apart from wooden acting by Natalie Portman--which is nothing we haven't had to endure before.
JUST FOUR MORE DAYS.

The coolest part about the review from The Independent:
"Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (143 mins, U) Directed by George Lucas; starring Ewan McGregor, Christopher Lee"
Yep, put Mr Lee's name RIGHT up there past the others. GREAT!

George Lucas hosted a charity benefit performance today at, where else, the "Galaxy" theatre in San Francisco, and the response was extremely positive, according to reporters, and to Mr. Lucas himself. The Mayor of San Francisco was there, proclaiming it his favorite in the series to date, along with several other notables, including Cheech Marin and San Francisco football legend, Steve Young. Everyone seemed very enthusiastic indeed!
Oh, Lord, I'm dying--JUST FOUR MORE DAYS!!!!
