Hello,

Has anyone seen Mr. Lee's film Crypt of Horror? I believe it was shot around 1960 or 61 and might have been an Italian production. Any info would be appreciated!!

yeah I own it....I bought it at one of those online video stores I think either video screams or sinister cinema....the movies ok..Christopher plays a father of a girl believed to be reincarnated as a witch from the past. The movie is another Karnstien film, but of no relation to the Hammer films also based on camillia....Its Ok its kinda like a mystery movie as we try to figure out who is the witch by a guy restoring a potrait of the witch that has been covered over by another potrait..it takes place in a castle and its in black and white...Id compare it to whip and the body where its a mystery and almost entirely takes place in a castle..the movies ok but id buy whip and the body instead ..if ya have a choice

whip and the body is now availible on dvd for pretty low price(suncoast in usa around 14.99) its a really good gothic ghost story directed by the late great Mario Bava.definite pick up if you dont have it already. the only flaw is its the first foreign movie I had ever seen with out Christopher Lee dubbing himself..Its weird to see him talk and its not his voice but other than that its a good flick
