Hello!

I'm french.
I'm not really what one could call a Christopher Lee fan, but rather a Lord of the Rings and Star Wars fan, who acknoledges the monumental acting abilities of Mr Lee.

I knew he was speaking several languages fluently, including french.
Yesterday I heard him speaking, and the question of the french dubbing of Star Wars and The Fellowship of the Rings came to my mind. I dreamt for one second of himself performing it. I posted a question on a Star Wars board, and somebody told me you around here guys were the most qualified to answer...
So if anybody has any idea about this weird assertion, please let me know.

Thanks

oh, this is sad, although I was quite sure things were this way. Just one question (according to your personnal opinion, of course):
Do you think Mr Lee, CBE doesn't because no one proposed it to him, or because he refuses to do his own dubbing in the foreign languages he can speak?

I am intimately persuaded that an actor's performance lies in his voice intonations, and so, a bad dubbing can ruin it entirely. I hope the dub will be good enough to reflect the original performance.

He hasn't been asked, otherwise he would have loved to.
