Just this week I happened to pass the bookstore and found a book called "The Fellowship of the Ring -The Big filmguide-" by Brian Sibley. (I wish I had a scanner so I could shove the cover).
This book is a must for everyone who is a fan of the book and of course excited about the film. It has exclusive photographs of the cast and crew and you get a complete overlook on how the film was made. It has interwievs of the cast and crew and photographs of scetches used for the film. It also has an overlook on the Weta workshop who created the creatures masks and prospetic makeup. If anyone has bought this book it would like to comment on it feel free to do so. My only comment is that it is a great book and I know that here in Sweden they release tickets to the film on Monday at 8:00 o' clock in the moorning (7:00 GMT). Like I said it's a must for everyone who simply can't wait for the film to buy this book. However I'm irretated at one thing and that is that the film opens in London on the 10th of december and I have to wait until december 19th until the film opens in Stockholm . HMPH.

Here in the USA, the book apparently has a different title, and perhaps it has slightly different pictures. However, it's a must-have buy just for the shots of Lee - he is featured in three full page images. Opening chapter has a great shot of Lee presiding regally between Ian McKellan and Peter Jackson, as they are strolling in what looks like the green grass location used for Hobbition. There's also two more full page photos of Lee, and a very nice shot of Lee emoting for director Jackson on the Orthanc tower throne room set.

The film opens on the 19th here in Britain just like most other countries but the premiere is in London next Thursday. I would gladly cut off a limb if I thought it would get me a ticket. What do you think of the picture of PJ sitting in Saruman's throne?
