Hello,
I sent a letter to Mr. Lee back in July hoping to get a signed photo for my fiance' for her birthday in October. I followed the instructions - 4 IRC coupons, large mailer, but have not received anything yet.
The request was from:
Michael Wall
PO BOX 66814
Portland, OR 97290-6814
USA
I know this may not be the correct forum, but I'd like to find out if it got lost.
(Should have done a delivery receipt).
Thanks, Mike

He said very recently that he can no longer cope with all the mail he gets and to answer all will be imposible.

Fair enough, but it does nothing for the cost I incurred by sending the mailer and the coupons. Not to mention the expectation of getting this item for a gift. What if I try going through his agent? Since I mailed this in July, I would think that this is earlier than his "very recently" statement. So, it would have been in an earlier queue. Basically, was my letter even received?
Sorry, just a little frustrated.

What address did you sent it to?
It it was that of his agent and not an old address we can try and verify that it was received. His agent does not handle any requests, those are forwarded to Mr Lee's secretary and it is her who takes care of those. She separates the autograph requests from the letters and the later are read by Mr Lee, some he replies to personally.
The autograph pictures, the size of a postcard, are mass productions with a stamped signature on the back. You didn't need to send any cupons because Mr Lee pays himself for the post.
If we cannot trace your request, I can send you one straight away at the address you have given.

Thanks for your replies.
I sent it to this address:
Christopher Lee
c/o London Management
2-4 Noel Street
London
W1V 3RB
United Kingdom
I got the information from another fan site. It's there that they said if you mail in all of the items, that you will get a 8x10 BW signed photo.
I would much appreciate it if you could ask his secretary, or give me a contact.
Thanks again,
Mike

The address is incorrect, the post code is W1F 8GB
Mail in all the items? What do you mean by that? Cupons and all that stuff? There is no need.
I'm seeing him on Sunday so I'll post you one miself on Monday. Do you want it personalise? What would you like him to write?

Yes, that would be great if he could personalize it.
Something like
"Happy Birthday Simone'" would be great! (Her bday is this month).
Thanks very much for taking the time to do this. I am very appreciative.
Thanks,
Mike
If he has time, I wouldn't mind one made out to me (Michael) either! But hers is the important one.

When I received a signed photograph from Mr. Lee (admittedly this was around fifteen years ago!) it did take quite some time to get to me. Over a year if I recall correctly. I think for anyone asking for an autograph patience is needed and an understanding that people like Mr. Lee only have so many hours in a day. One thing is certain, Christopher Lee cares about his fans so I

No, I know, patience is a virtue. I do appreciate all the help that everyone on this board has provided.

It took a long time for me to receive a picture of Mr. Lee (3 months to be exact) and sadly, all I received was a postcard with Mr. Lee's photo and a "stamped" not handwritten autograph.... I was a bit disappointed. But nonetheless, I still received something. I would however still LOVE a personally signed picture....(I can dream can I?)
