What unconventional, inconvenient, or exceptional effort have you put forth to see a Christopher Lee film? How far would you go to see a Lee movie?

My story: Return to Witch Mountain. I was a teenager and dying to see Mr. Lee's new film, even though it was a Disney film for young children. My mother refused to allow me to go by myself (?), and I didn't know anybody to ask to go with me. I had to BEG my mother to take me to a DISNEY movie, in a theater full of kids (!) to see Christopher Lee and Betty Davis.

I enjoyed the chemistry between Mr. Lee and Ms. Davis. As for the experience, if that's not devotion, I don't know what is!:circle:

What have I done to see a Christopher Lee movie?

I found a hard-to-find Christopher Lee movie on eBay and could see that the price was going to go way over my head.

I immediately approached two members about going in together on it up to a certain limit. Together, we won the bid, then each got our turn at viewing it, mailing it on to the next person after our turn, agreeing not to copy it.

More good news: Shortly after we'd won the bid, someone contacted me and offered to buy it, adding a few dollars to cover postage costs, and I was able to refund the money the other two members spent, as well as my part, but we all got to see the movie. :)

I have also paid a month's worth of the Encore (I think??) channel for a friend who has some kind of extra-channel gizmo, so he could tape another Christopher Lee movie for me. It was only $5 or $10 for that extra channel, and my friend didn't mind.

What would I do? Well, business is down right now, so it would have to be something cooperative or imaginative. :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:

What would I do to see a Christopher Lee movie??????

Hmmmm

One thing I hate to do is go to the movies by myself. I have been going to a few movies this year with my new boyfriend, but our taste in movies clash.

So I would either pay his way for him to go with me, or I would go by myself. Hmmmmm, I think I would enjoy the movie more if I went by myself he rakes my nerves at times.

Rebecca,

I have been doing some shopping at half.com. They have a really nice selection of Mr. Lee

Of course, there was always the time my Dad took me to see Frank Langella's Dracula (R-rated, under 17 needs a parent). He teased me afterwards to my reaction to certain scenes! And I thought I was playing it cool!

That, however, is another actor and another story!
