Hello out there.
I noticed that several people seemed to enjoy the trivia game posts so I thought it might be interesting to try the Six Degrees of Separation.
Is everyone familiar with this? In the US it has spawned the college student trivia-type of game called Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon where someone mentions a name and in six connections or less someone else links this person back to Kevin Bacon (or in our case Christopher Lee).
Here's a fairly easy example of what I mean:
Try linking Michael Douglas.
Michael Douglas was in Traffic directed by Steven Soderbergh who directed Julia Roberts in Erin Brokovich. Roberts was in Mary Reilly with John Malkovich. Malkovich was in Empire of the Sun with Christian Bale. Bale was in Mio in the Land of Faraway with Christopher Lee.
I know this isn't exactly a newsworthy post but I thought some of you might get a kick out of trying to link someone like the US rock group the Deftones to Christopher Lee in six degrees or less.

I don not know, how to link the deaftones to Mr. Lee, but what about the Ramones:
The Ramones were in "Rock 'n' Roll High School" with Dick Miller ,who was in Gremlins 2 with Mr. Lee
Buster Keaton :
Buster Keaton was in "Sunset Boulevard" directed by Billy Wilder, who directed Mr. Lee in "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes"
a crazy one:
porn star John Holmes :
John Holmes was in Runners (1983) with Bernard Hill, who is in
The Fellowship of the Ring with Christopher Lee
Try to link these with Mr. Lee :
Elvis Presley, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Mae West and John Wayne

Mae West appeared with Raquel Welch in MYRA BRECKINRIDGE (1970) and Mr. Lee appeared with Raquel in HANNIE CAULDER (1971).
How about linking Christopher Lee with Mel Gibson.

Well, Nicholas Cage was in The Rock with Sean Connery, who worked with Bernard Lee in numerous Bond films, Bernard Lee was in The Man With the Golden Gun, as was Christopher Lee. I'm sure there is a more direct link, but at the moment I haven't thought of it.
Cheers!

Mel Gibson was in Conspiracy Theory with Patrick Stewart
Patrick Stewart was in X-Men with Sir Ian Mckellen
and Sir Ian Mckellen is in the Lord of the Rings with Christopher Lee
I know someone else got this already a different way but I couldn't think of any others :)

The ever amusing Leo McKern was in The Day the Earth Caught Fire, which was directed by Val Guest, who also directed Mr. Lee in the Diamond Mercenaries.

Harder? Hmm...you'll have to try harder still I fear.
Robert Donat was in The Inn of the Sixth Happiness with Curt Jürgens. Mr. Lee was in Bitter Victory with Curt Jürgens. Simple as that.
Cheers!
