I'm only speculating here, not sure what happened until I look into it in greater detail.

Multimedia

That section had to be taken down due to a breach of security at a certain directory. If you accidentally downloaded any of those files on to your PC, delete them straight away as they could contain a nasty virus. Either way, let me know if you downloaded any ASAP. By download, I don't mean streaming them trough real player, but an actually physical download on to your hard drive. My suggestion, would be to delete them straight away.

There is no way those files could be downloaded because a .ram file does not exist anywhere in Mr Lee's servers. It could also be a bug on my side, but better safe than sorry.

I'm too tired to look into it now, in the morning we'll be checking all the raw access logs to find out what or who did this.

I'm aware of a Virus that Rebecca mentioned before that affects web servers and I'm wondering if we got infected. If that is the case, I will soon find out and send instructions on how to remove it.

Everything is back to normal and you are safe to stream any media.

The problem was caused by someone or something taking advantage of a security whole in the cgi-bin and accessing a file which executes the rm files. This is now fixed and impossible to break in again.

Unless you downloaded any of the rm files onto your computer, you are safe from any kind of virus. If you did, delete them straight away and whatever you do, do not open them. I had to trash an old computer's CMOS chip to find out what the problem was.

It's not bad enough to get viruses through e-mails, looks like they are spreading through websites too.
