Juan Aneiros is on a distinguished road
All of Mr Lee's sites have been upgraded to PHP from common html pages. This allows for dynamic display, on the fly themes and templates. We want to upload three version of Mr Lee's site for every language. One for broadband, one for modems and and a plain one.

Those of you on 56K, do the pages display any faster now? Is it fast enough?

Juan,
The change to PHP has certainly dramatically increased the speed with which I can navigate the site. Absolutely zips from screen to screen. Impressive!

cheers,

Juan, I'm on cable modem, so I can't speak to the before and after speed issue, but I disabled JavaScript in my browser last night due to the presumably unprecedented statement by CERT that the new worm can attack via JavaScript in Web pages, rather than via e-mail attachments only. Everything in the forums that I've used so far still works. I may have to hit a "go" button here or there, but it all works perfectly so far. Good for you for accommodating different levels of browsers.

(That goes double for your inclusion of a plain text version. I don't get sent to that one while using MSIE, but I might log onto my ISP's shell and fire up Lynx to check it out. Not many Webmasters these days look out for users with lesser machines, a simple aesthetic, or visual impairment.)

Excellent job.

Thanks, Juan!

I bookmarked the page of super smilies in my "Favorites" menu to keep it handy. :gif-smile

Hi Admin

Yes! It is 100% better than the other day, I was going to upgrade my system thinking it was the machine speed that was the problem....but it looks like I wont have to for quite a while! ;) so yes I think its fast enough....for me that is!

but if you want to make it faster.......don't let me stop you!
