Juan,

Those "Post Reply" buttons at the foot of pages are great! (Neat idea, Greg!) Thanks for making them, Juan!

I'm not color-blind, but when I'm inside a forum with multiple pages, I have a really hard time distinguishing the new (dark red or brown and black?) colors of the hot-linked page numbers at the top of the page. Since I can't see which page number I'm on, I can't tell where to go.

Thanks.

Juan Aneiros is on a distinguished road
Rebecca,

Thank you for comments on this, it is extreamly helpful for us. Anyone that can think of any useful things and or toys, please let me know.

These forums are not finished, in fact we haven't even started on them seriously. They are like this now, just to get us by until we are able to upgrade and to test for speed.

We are aware of a lot of minor things like the polls not working, the "imood" feature being a total waste of space and the instant messanger lacking many features and the ability to be used throught the site and not just at the forums. Once we are done, there will not be any need for users to download paltalk at all. These things will run straigth into your browser from our servers.

I did mention a while ago, that you will be able to have the forums look like you want by the introduction of skins. Perhaps, this will also be introduced to the whole website. You will have access to a control panel from were you can set your personal preferences, i.e:

Language, skin, colours, ignore users, messages from, turn on-off, etc, etc, etc.

With that in place, you could change those colours yourself to whatever you like.

Yes, we know that having a lot of toys will be cool for those with fast computers and connections. Remmeber that those with modems can turn off or on any feature they don't care to see/have. You can have a text only version of the forums or work your way up to a fully featured forums with flash, voice, movies, etc, or keep it half way.

Having total control on how these are displayed on your browser, will let you created the perfect forums for you. The same may apply to the whole site, but that will be just a matter of time.

We are planning at least a year ahead, so we are not left behind. The introduction of broadband and soon to be available to more users, will allow us to take advantage of many new technologies. There are things that today are just a dream but in 2-3 months wil become possible.
