I'm not going to review the movie itself just the DVD.
Once again Anchor Bay has proven why they are rapidly becoming the best DVD marketers in the business. The print quality is excellent. Deep vibrant colors and crystal clear picture. The sound mix is Dolby Digital 2.0 and has all the clarity and sonics of a movie made in the last five years. Letterboxed at 1.85:1 ratio and mastered for 16:9 TVs this is one awesome disc. The only downer is the lack of extras. Only a trailer is included.
The first time I saw this movie on VHS I was unimpressed. Between the faded color, cropped picture and warbly sound I found it hard to stay interested. Needless to say this DVD as altered my opinion greatly.
If you haven't yet seen this film, buy it. If you have the VHS, throw it away and buy the DVD!
