It appears that Mr. Lee was interviewed for Creature Features back in 1974 during a promotional tour for The Man with the Golden Gun. A couple pics of the interview program can be found here and here.

Charles,
Checked both them out, it`s great to see photo`s of Mr. Lee I haven`t seen before...
I recognise all the posters in the first link apart from the bottom left, I think it`s German, ...any ideas?

Colin

Colin,
The poster you asked about is from the 1957 film The Battle of the River Plate as far as I can tell. It has variant titles that include The Graf Spee and Pursuit of the Graf Spee which is what tipped me off from the image of the poster. I really need to see that film as the cast is marvelous and reads like a Who's Who of British cinema in the 50's. Included in the cast are some of my favorites like Douglas Wilmer, Bernard Lee, Patrick Macnee, Nigel Stock, John Le Mesurier and Roger Delgado. Thanks for asking the question as I now have a new "must-see" film to hunt down :uhoh3:

Charles,
Thanks for the quick reply,
I have seen this film some years ago but don`t remember much about it.These type of films are always popping up on Brittish television on Sunday afternoons, I will keep my eye open.

Pursuit Of The Graf Spee seems to have a regular life on AMC, TNT, TBS, and WGN here in the States. Pops up every month or so.
