If you can get your hands on a copy of "Theatre of Death" (through eBay, used video stores, etc.), you'll be treated to some screen time with this fabulous painting that some Christopher Lee fans would just about die to own. (Well,
I would!)
If you click this small, fuzzy screen grab, you should see a larger fuzzy and incomplete close-up of the painting:
Does anyone know if the real painting is on display anywhere? Are there prints available?
The character in "Theatre of Death" was Philippe Darvas, but this painting reminds me much more of Kurt Menliff from "Whip And The Body" -- the most tall, dark, and handsome of all Christopher Lee's characters, in my opinion.
If there were a postcard of the painting, imagine how it would look framed and displayed in a really magnificent gothic dollhouse.
