If you can get your hands on a copy of "Theatre of Death" (through eBay, used video stores, etc.), you'll be treated to some screen time with this fabulous painting that some Christopher Lee fans would just about die to own. (Well, I would!)

If you click this small, fuzzy screen grab, you should see a larger fuzzy and incomplete close-up of the painting:

Does anyone know if the real painting is on display anywhere? Are there prints available?

The character in "Theatre of Death" was Philippe Darvas, but this painting reminds me much more of Kurt Menliff from "Whip And The Body" -- the most tall, dark, and handsome of all Christopher Lee's characters, in my opinion.

If there were a postcard of the painting, imagine how it would look framed and displayed in a really magnificent gothic dollhouse.

[b][i] NOTE: If the picture above is missing, the server at my domain ISP is down (as it was the morning of 19 March, 2001 PST). Here is the picture at my broadband access ISP:

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Juan Aneiros is on a distinguished road
LOL!!!

I find this interesting. Each time Christina looks at any pictures of her father, she always comments on how gorgeous he looks on this picture or that picture. She does the same with PC and VP and keeps pictures round the house. Somehow I am not surprised to not see one picture of me anywere, they must fall in the same category of some of the villains played by Mr Lee.

"Juan, look how nice my Daddy looks in this picture. He still is a very good looking man" I hope one day to have a daughter like Christina and maybe say the same about me.

Apologies to anyone who tried to see the original links to the painting above: My domain ISP is down. I don't have details.

I've put the files on my primary access ISP, and added a temporary link to them above. Ironically, that ISP announced that it intends to switch servers the night of March 19, 2001, PST (today's date). This gives a whole new meaning to "We shall see what we shall see."

Again, my apologies.
