I heard about a film and I am trying to find the title of it. It has Christopher Lee, apparently, running an antique shop and when people come in and buy something and lie about the price or something they die at the hands of the object they bought, but one guy was honest and he survived. He bought a door and he propped it up against is wall and his wife heard some noises coming from behind the door and they went inside where they found a room ... etc. etc. It sounded excellent, can anyone help??

I think i know what film you are talking about, but it does not feature mr. Lee, it stars his long time friend Peter Cushing.
The film is called "From beyond the grave", and mr. Cushing plays the antique dealer you are talking about.
There is also Donald Pleasance and Diana Dors starring in it.
I think this film is still available from various sources, but only in VHS.
It is a very enjoyable film.

Sylvain

Sorry to disappoint you Dan, but Mr. Lee isn't in the film.

The film you've described sounds very much like the Amicus feature From Beyond the Grave. In typical Amicus style, it consists of 4 stories, the last of which is entitled The Door, linked by the shop called "Temptations Ltd". While Mr. Lee isn't in it, the cast is quite remarkable featuring Ian Bannen, Ian Carmichael, Diana Dors, Donald Pleasance, David Warner and Peter Cushing as the shop proprietor. Pretty good viewing and well worth tracking down!

Cheers!

Thanks guys, I will track it down.
By the way, you guys should use the amazing DigiGuide interactive TV guide (http://www.digiguide.com), cos its great for finding things like this, I have just set up a 'smart search' to warn me when this film next appears so I should never miss it.
Its free for 30 days then it costs £4.99 for a whole year and it supports over 197 channels! US version is coming soon.
Apologies for the plug, but I think fans of Christopher Lee would find it really useful, the site also has free content things to add to this site as well. Have a look, there's nothing to lose.
