In the Forum topic "Island of the Burning Doomed," Charles mentioned a plot summary from TV Times: Quote: |
[b]Britons sweat out a winter inferno caused by malignant alien protoplasm. | Charles commented on its brevity, then brought up an idea: Quote: | Hmmm...I see potential for a new game there. Write a cheesy description or oblique synopsis, in the above TV Times style, to a CL movie in 15 words or less. The next person guesses what the film is. What do you think? | Joe contributed: "Ancient Egyptian Lover comes unwrapped in modern England over old flame."
I offered: "Home-educated fellow promises to make new man of convicted criminal, then incarcerates resulting new man."
So, once again, it looks like "we've got game!"
To start the new summaries off (remember, they should be obscure and contain 15 or fewer words): Couple begins search for man's brother, becomes extremely distracted by price of bed and breakfast. | |

Rebecca,
First I thought it was HORROR HOTEL you were describing--now I'm not sure.
Please let me know if I'm right.

Carmen,
That's a very good guess, but I had "Scars of Dracula" in mind.
Please let me welcome you and Greg back, too -- even though I wasn't here when you were here before. With everyone else's reaction to your return, I know I'm meeting some wonderful people in you two.

Rebecca: thanks so much--you are very kind indeed.
Regarding the game: I thought I had guessed wrong! Yep...Scars of Dracula it is!
Oh my, I'm rusty so I think someone else better try one...
Carmen

Why, The Man with the Golden Gun, of course. How about: College student working in a pub overcomes pride, prejudice, and an obssessed stalker to win girl.

Man gives former house guest the finger. Oops! Charles' answer to Vicky's looks more plausible than mine.

Yep, mine was Dracula has Risen from the Grave. OK. . . Rebecca #2 Brides of Fu Manchu; and #4 I, Monster. Am I right?
Here's another: Colleagues compete over carousing cranium.
