Anyone knows anything about it?

It appears to be something from Jess Franco and One Shot Productions. Their site indicates that they would like to get Mr. Lee into the production, but nothing much else on the matter. The One Shot Production site can be found here.

All I could find really that directly comments on it.

From the looks of that site, there is no way Mr Lee would be starring in that film.

Funny, but when I looked over the site, I didn't think it would be up Mr. Lee's alley either. It ...umm...Looked a tad on the cheap and nasty side, even for Jess Franco.

I doubt seriously that they could even afford Mr. Lee. One Shot Productions, which are run by some very nice people btw, specializes in direct-to-video fare,such as Franco's Tender Flesh and Lust For Frankenstein, and their budgets tend to be well under 100,000 American dollars.

While I know that Mr. Lee had pleasant experiences working with Franco, in better days for poor Jess, I simply cannot imagine him working in a film like this, especially with much bigger fish to fry, so to speak. The announcement of trying to secure his services, sounds a bit like a publicity ploy, on their part.

I agree with Domenick, the bit concerning Mr. Lee does sound like a publicity ploy (not to mention name dropping -- along with Wes Craven and Robert Englund). I've never been a great Jess Franco fan, so perhaps I'm prejudiced; but the feeling I got from looking at the ONE SHOT web site was that it seems to be trying to recaputure the 70s -- esp. with regard to Lina Romay. And it just isn't working.

Just been talking with Mrs Lee on the phone to New Zeland. All claims of him starring in that film are totally false.
