Chat Room for Live Competition

We will be using a completely diferent chatroom for the 2nd Live Event and the competition final. The room uses up to 24 simultaneous video feeds, from the free web based client you can receive up to 8.

Some of us have already tested the server and the web software client. When you have the time and if you are attending, please be available at Paltak so that someone can show you how to use it.

The chatroom will be open every night from 11pm GMT to 4 am GMT. However, that will not be the method we will be using on the day for security reasons. Information will be e-mailed individually once you have tested and configured your web client, you will be sent a direct invitation to join our server(hidden) on the day.

We will be placing direct calls to your computer as opposed to having a room open. Mr Lee will not be entering any room, so please follow intructions very carefully once you have had the time to test the web client.

I will not be able to help you in configuring your web client as we use a completely different interface on our side and I cannot see any of the controls you have and vice-versa.

There are a few different web clients you can use to enter the room, I recommend "CUseeMe" (Works well). However, if it does not work Netmeeting can also be used (limited functionality). Both are free, the first installs from your browser and is by far the easiest to setup.

So which chatroom are we suppose to be downloading?

Because the chatroom on the 'chat page' doesnt work.

I think I have downloaded 'Hear Me'

But I just tried it with Colin, and it sais:

'Refering url is ()...
Could not find chatroom for refering url ().'
