From Mr Lee's mouth:
"Rumours, nothing has been signed or sealed".

It would be interesting to see what today's technology
could do with the FX, but I think the plot would have to delve deeper into satanic rituals for today's audience. It seems as though the masses don't want to rely on imagination at all.

again, there is absolutely nothing confirmed about this,
i have posted that news before checking with Juan first
, it's my mistake !
There is an article saying that on the site linked with the news,
but again, this is only a rumour, i guess my enthousiasm about such a news (if it were true) took over !

Sylvain,
Since you posted that news, telephones starting ringing and Mr Lee has been finally convinced.
The remake of the film has been agreed. They have everything to go ahead with it but nothing has been signed yet.
Some official news will follow as soon as new developments happen.

How strange can life be sometimes!!
i guess i was guided by a higher force when i posted that news!
I have to say though, that it is Colin who has sent me the link to the french article, so he is responsable for the posting that i did.
Of course i am delighted by this , mr. Lee as monsieur le Duc De Richleau again!! this is too good to be true!!
Thanks for the news Juan!!!

:) This is great news , I mean if it happens because I also think it would be interesting to see what todays technology can do with the special effects of the old 1967 film which it was pretty good back then too , but it would also be great to see what todays technology would do to this old film too , but I also think it should be called the Devils Bride , otherwise all of us will think it will be a western film and not a Sci -fi horror film , and I think I heard but I'm not sure with this rumor that Mr. Lee will also Co-Produce the movie too ? as well as act in it ? well I guess I'll have to see what happens to that too I think . And if he does think on Co-Produce and act in this Movie , I can't wait to see how Mr.Lee does with his character of the steely Duc De Richleau this time after so many years since 1967 .
Best Regards ,
Amy Maloney
