Project Gutenberg, a volunteer effort to put literature on the Internet (nee 1971), is still around, and you can download the full text of a few books that have been made into Christopher Lee movies, including Washington Irving's
Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Arthur Conan Doyle's
Hound of the Baskervilles, Bram Stoker's
Dracula, Alexandre Dumas'
Three Musketeers, many of the Edgar Allan Poe works read by Mr. Lee on tape, "Hamlet," and several others.
Project Gutenberg doesn't publish any texts still in copyright, so you won't find anything by Dennis Wheatley or Ian Flemming.
Hint: If you get an error when attempting to download a TXT file, download the ZIP file instead.
