Juan Aneiros is on a distinguished road
May Day, which is now the definitive title for the film which was previously known as Ridding of the Laddie, is now going ahead. The £11m project will start filming early next year around the Glasgow area, with some scenes to be shot in Texas.

Mr. Lee's role in this film will be similar to the one in the classic Wicker Man. His wife will be played by Vanessa Redgrave while Sean Astin will play the leading role. This film is not a sequel or a remake but there are similarities - it is a very scary film and the pagan revival is part of the plot.

May Day will be made by Hardy's Eurocentre Productions and British Lion, who produced The Wicker Man.

Great news Juan, I look forward to watching it.
maybe Mr .Lee will get to sing again.
It will also be good to have Mr. Lee back home for a while, in England.

Wonderful news! If it's even half as good as I found The Wicker Man to be then I know I won't be disappointed.

Excellent news.

I wonder if it will have a folky soundtrack too like The Wicker Man. :)

I should think so. Folk was an integral part of The Wicker Man.

You know what the story is about, don't you?

I love folk music, the music in The Wicker Man is stunning. Paul Giovanni was a genius.
