I've had a ball all afternoon, watching DVD's of "Scars of Dracula" and "Dracula, Prince of Darkness" It was so much fun to see the extras on these DVD's, like the music videos and "The Many Faces of Christopher Lee". Then I would go back and watch the movies again with the commentary in the background, and it was so clear how much friendship there is between the actors and actresses. It's been a really fantastic afternoon for me! Okay, so the laundry didn't get done...this was more important for now. :1roll:
The video called, "She'll Fall for Me" was simply adorable! For those of you who haven't seen this DVD, it's a must! I can't wait to get the other movies I like on DVD, not only for the movies but for the extras they include. I have to see "The Wicker Man" now, and I want to get the DVD of "I, Monster" because I loved the movie and I haven't seen it in years. Also, "The Devil Rides Out" is one I recall watching at some point, but have to refresh my memory.
What a wonderful and varied career you have, Mr. Lee. After watching "The Many Faces..." I feel like we sat and had a pleasant conversation this afternoon, so I feel I should call you Chris, but won't since you don't know me from Eve. I also adored your mention of Vincent Price and Peter Cushing. What talented people and sweet human beings! I wish I could have known them.
Just wanted to share my great afternoon with all of you....
