I totally agree . The Hound Of The Baskervilles is one of Hammers best .The sets , the lighting , the direction not to mention the cast are all excellent .The DVD is long overdue and yet again shows what real filmaking is all about . It is nice to see Christopher Lee playing a " human " character so early in his Hammer career and I , for one , think that Cushings performance as Holmes remains unsurpassed . It's a shame that the propossed series of Holmes films never got made .
