Hi Dave,

I have the dubbed German version of the film "Circus of Fear" on videocassette. It is called "Das Rätsel des silbernen Dreiecks" and part of the "Edgar Wallace Series" (made between 1959 and 1972). "Circus of Fear" was made in 1966 and is a German-British co-production.
The movie is about a series of murders at a circus. The cast includes German actors Heinz Drache, Klaus Kinski and Eddi Arent. There are also some British actors and actresses in it: Margaret Lee, Suzy Kendall, Leo Genn and - of course - Christopher Lee. Mr. Lee plays Gregor, a man who works at the circus and hides his face under a black hood most of the time (so you won't see his face very often).
There are different versions of this movie. The German version I have is in black-and-white, although the movie was shot in color.
"Circus of Fear" was Christopher Lee's third appearance in a movie based on a novel by Edgar Wallace. In 1961 he was in "Das Geheimnis der gelben Narzissen" and in 1962 in "Das Rätsel der roten Orchidee". In those two films he even speaks German (and he does that very well!).

Feel free to contact me if you need any additional information about "Circus of Fear".

Greetings,
Michael (aka rochefort83)
