Yes, I'll admit it. I, too, was totally in love and in admiration for Christopher Lee as a young one. All of the other girls in school were mooning over the latest teen idol while I was "head over feet" for Christopher Lee. Of course, this was not easy for me, as some of the young girls would say "Christopher who??" but I never let that get in the way of my major school girl crush. What did they know, anyway?! Funny thing is, my boyfriend now is very tall, dark, and he's foreign! Well, he's Canadian, but to us Americans, that still counts as foreign! I definitely see Mr. Lee's influence in my choice.
It's absolutely true! Age has not diminshed his looks or capacity for charm. Age has only perfected that wonderful, handsome face, that glorious voice, that twinkle in his eye. I remember it as if it were yesterday. Those are great memories.
Ahhhh, youth!
