I saw the 'Whales of August' a few years ago......even though the film was farely boring and Vincent Price had a small part in it, overall I quite enjoyed it. It started off at the turn of the century with a family visiting a seaside house for the summer, this bit only lasted for about 5 mins...it then moved on to when the characters are in their late 70s, remembering years gone by...also starred Bette Davis and Lillian Gish. Its a film on my DVD wants list.....and would enjoy having it as part of my collection!
