Re: New Trading Cards

The 72 card base set arrived this morning and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. No sketch cards at all just a nice collection of stills.
Strictly Ink really shouldn't have advertised the awful sketch cards so much as the base set is well worth collecting.
The first 9 are entitled "Early Science Fiction Thrills" and feature stills and poster reproductions from Stolen Face, Quatermass and so on. All are double sided with the usual mini synopsis.
Cards 10 - 27 are all stills of Peter Cushing & Christopher Lee. All good quality and again double sided. The rear of these form a jigsaw of a large portrait of each actor.
Cards 28 - 45 feature stills from Curse Of Frankenstein & Dracula. Not many rare shots but the quality is excellent.
The remaining cards are a mixture of Hammer Glamour and behind the scenes shots.
If, like me, you have all the previous Hammer card sets you'll certainly want to add this base set to your collection.
