saruman12 is an unknown quantity at this point
This is one of the most superficial reviews I read in a long time. The guy does not even get his facts right.

"Jackson is painstakingly (!!!!) faithful to Tolkien's book " ---

Very other review says Jackson took a lot of liberties ....

"Other sci-fi sequels -- such as "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Aliens" -- avoided such pitfalls, helping establish their status as true, stand-alone classics of the genre."

- The Two Towers was never supposed to stand-alone. It is Act 2 in a 3 Act play. I mean having no "Previously on LOTRs" introduction and jumping right into the action requires the audience to watch it in connection with Fellowship.

"If plot contrivances like talking plants do nothing for you, then consider skipping "The Two Towers." "

- Treebeard is only in the movie for a few minutes (Book fans complainted about that). In this review it sounds like we get a hour with Treebeard......

I could go on and on.
It is ok to critize TTT , but the reviewer should have better arguments and he should do a better research.
